Local AG Truck Driver

We are looking for a licensed Truck Driver who will be responsible for the loading, transportation and unloading of local grain and fertilizer using a hopper bottom trailer. Pay range $20-$25/per hour DOE

D&H Trucking is a small family owned Trucking Company out of Bridgewater, SD that has been transporting ag products for 14 years.

Local hauling, home every night. Most hours are Monday - Friday approx 6am - 6pm. Drivers will be expected to put in extra hours during seasonal busy times (spring and fall). Loads going further away from home do happen occasionally, therefore applicants must be willing to be gone overnight once in a while. Typical working hours are based on customer and organizational demand; hours may be long, irregular and including weekends and holidays during peak season.

Mechanical experience is a plus, great help in the shop is always apprecaited.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Report any mechanical issues and road incidents immediately to management
  • Keep inside of cab clean and picked up
  • Wash outside of truck if time allows
  • Completes daily pre and post trip inspection of truck and trailer
  • Refuel vehicle
  • Log loads, miles and hours daily
